I have the Netgear MR814v2 as my main cable DSL router. I also have a Netgear ME102 access point so that I can connect a computer in another room to the network without wiring it up with Cat5 cable. Does anyone know how to set the ME102 up to talk with the MR814v2 Wirelessly?

I don't know that the ME102 can do that -- you usually need a "wireless bridge" for that sort of connection, not just a regular AP. Most APs will only take a wired connection and make it wireless, not bridge or repeat a wireless connection. You *might* be able to set it up as a part of the same wireless access group, but it still might not work unless they're physically wired together.

I believe the ME102 does not have the capability to connect to a wireless router or WAP, you need a bridge or client.

Make sure you download the latest software from here, if using the usb manager load the usb driver, open either the usb manager or snmp manager, go to the operational settings, click on operational mode and select the option you want. I have never used mine this way, just as a access point. Also if you read question #6 here it says to use a crossover cable and not a straight cable. You might also get some usefull information with the document in question #18.

Good luck
