When originally loadingXP I instaled the Intel Raid Driver from disk. When I added the second drive a month later I had IAA instelled and it suposedly built the drive for me. The Raid 0 array shows up on before the OS loads, and the array shows up in XP, but when I look at the properties of the deive and examin 'volumes' it lists the following:
disk disk 0
Type basic
Status online
Partition style Master Boot Record
Capacity 234488 MB
unallocated space 117256 MB
Sandra gives me values around 3400, where I expected 5000+ based on other striped array results I have seen, so it appeares that the second hard drive is not being used. My only though has been to start from scratch , but I would obviously like to fix this problem from within XP. Any suggestions?

XP will only show you 1 drive because that's all it sees, the RAID controller (or driver in a lot of the IDE soft-raid cases) will do the work behind the scenes and only show you the logical volumes you configured.

I understand what you are saying, but tah is not were my problem is. Windows shows only 117 GB of avaiable space, and 117 GB unavailable. I only have about 35 GB of data, so this along with my low sandra scores lead me to believe that the new drive is not being utilized.

Generally you can't add a drive to a RAID 0 set, atleast not without a semi-highend RAID card. So if the array isn't setup correctly you'll probably have to backup, recreate the array correctly then restore the backup.
