Tropical Storm Imelda is storming ashore along the Texas coast today. OMG. Wot a humdinger. Everybody hunker down. 🙄😛 I'm stocked up on Capri Suns so I should be f-ok. I should be within the cone of influence in a day or two.
Is it a tropical depression yet?

Gol dang it! I'm flying through Dallas on Friday. Hopefully the airport won't be full of wet, smelly people.

The two weeks of fall+winter are still months away. I'm pretty certain you're SOL, regardless of any storms that may come through.

Up to 4in at my house so far

The grocery store wasn’t busy at all. Neither was the gas station for the time of day.

I’d say this one snuck up on us.

Got some rain last night (up on the NW side near Willowbrook) but nothing too bad. Roadways and drainage creeks look fine. Office & gym are a bit further south but seem to be fine. Most of the rain is staying down towards the SE and NE although that's supposed to change a bit this afternoon.

6.33 inches yesterday and 2.88 today for a total so far of 9.21. Some of the larger creeks are out of their banks but I45 is supposedly still passable.

I’m teleworking today.
