why the hell do so many men have problems with men getting manicures? I get them sometimes and uhh it's no big deal. And a nail shop is a great place to meet females, plus most will already be impressed with you before they know anything. Just because you're a man and you're secure enough to get a manicure.

Guess I wouldn't make it as a Boston Trooper 😀

Do you know how I know you're gay?

He has sex with Chris Martin?

Are you ON DUTY when you are having lunch or taking a cigarette break?

Manicure takes what 15 minutes?

I fail to see the problem here even if he was on duty, unless he wasn't supposed to be at / near the airport at all.

Yeah, that's a good point... if he was on break he should be allowed to do what he wants (within reason of course). And I don't see a manicure as being any worse than anything else you'd normally do on an approved break period. Hopefully they look into this before just kicking the guy to the curb.

Of course if he wasn't on break or he took a longer break than allowed simply to get it, then maybe he should get in trouble after all.

HOWEVER, I do believe police are still ON DUTY when they're having lunch. You think if someone tried to rob a Dunkin' Donuts with a couple of cops there they'd just ignore it and say "sorry, lunch break!"? 😛

What if the thieves were taking the last bear claw?

Uhhh.... it has nothing to do with being "secure" enough to get a manicure. You make it seem like all men secretly want manicures but are afraid of getting one because they aren't "secure" enough. If you want to get one, get one, but 99% of men simply don't feel the need to get one. Enjoy your bikini wax while you're at it 😉

I understand there not for most men, but what I was saying was men who find out *I* get them talk to me like I'm probably a homosexual. It's one thing to not like them, but to call out men who get them. That makes me think those men have to be insecure in their man hood. There's no reason to get up in arms over what other people do. But I have had men get bent out of shape when I bring it up me getting a manicure.

Exactly. How many smoke breaks are taken by folks? Or phone calls? As long as he had his walkie on so he could be reached, taking a 15-20 minute break is no big deal.
