I think I just got infected with it, its located in the explorer.exe file. It seems to want to cycle thru my hard drive after a minute of system inactivity in search of something.
I'm running Norton Antivirus 2001 and it detected it on my W2K machine.

Anybody know how to rid of it? Thx.

<< Trojan.VirtualRoot is a Trojan horse program that is dropped by the CodeRed II worm. The Trojan allows a hacker to have full remote access to the Web server that is infected by CodeRed II. Norton AntiVirus can detect an infection of CodeRed II on a Web server by detecting the payload (Trojan component) of this worm as Trojan.VirtualRoot. >>
