trojan detected

MODS> although I can understand why you may want to move this to forum issues..its seems unlikely to get a response here? and certainly was programming related thus why I chose software/programming.

It was moved here because it has nothing to do with the general public, for only a site admin can deal with it.

I see nothing in the first 100 posts.

It also had nothing to do with me till I tried to view it. (signed: part of the general public)
As to the admin: I hope you are right and they get back with a response.

Edit😛age 3 on the NYT leak story as I recall

I have 100 posts per page, I don't have a page 3. You need to be a little more specific.

The porn had the trojan.

Since we can't attach files, it's unlikely that one could build a trojan with any tags available in these forums.

do you use paypal or would you like to send cash?

Edit:
And by the way , if you had been observant enough to read the alert kaspersky generated.
You would have noticed the alert was specifically called out as an anandtech thread .
And although I am far from an expert php I believe would be in the form of a script not an attachment . So my bet is its just giving perhaps a "false" posative off of anandtechs script....but its the only one I have recieved so far so who knows?

kapersky is not exactly a top flight virus protection program.
Thats one of the reason sI stopped using it.
I was getting way to many false alarms concerning supposed websites that I would go to..etc..

I am sure somewhere people really like Kaspersky but in the Intenet Security field its rep is not that good.

FuseTalk has no such problems. It was merely a glitch on your end, not a big deal. Perhaps a background process jumped up and scared it, it happens every now and then (No, I'm not kidding).

actually I used Norton and trend for quite some time. A lot of the IT people around here seemed to reccommend kaspersky , so I thought I would give it a try.

If the search engine was working properly I'd post a link to a thread where a similar thing has happened before.

Yes. Some months ago there was a thread which caused a certain anti-virus program (AVG?) to give warnings about a trojan. IIRC it happened because someone posted a certain file name, although it may be unrelated as P&N isn't a forum that I'd expect anything technical in.

I looked through the source of the page with over 100 posts listed, nothing was there.

You must admit it did make you sound like a 12 year old who can't control his raging hormones.
By the way how did you get elite status making posts like that?

<How I feel about it> I used to be helpful then I got hardened by all the idiots who post here.
<Truth> Basically, most people are intelligent enough to realize that I do more than flame ignorant trolls and n00bs. But if you fall into one of those two categories, I could see how you'd be confused. Also, people you help don't tend to point it out and say thanks.
