Trojan.ByteVerify

This trojan keeps popping up in my Java folder. Norton's takes care of it but how can I find out where it is coming from? I have XP and IE all patched up and I run the "Immunize" function of Spybot S&D.

If you haven't already done so, you may want to clean out your System Restore files. I would guess Norton keeps a logfile on viruses detected, and they may give clues... for instance, if it's in a Temporary Internet Folder and has the name of the website in question as part of the file path.

Aha, here's McAfee's info including a Microsoft patch that you will want to install. HTH
