Troble with Networking

Hey poeple I'm haveing Troble with Networking 2 comps
I did all the things with the TCP/IP option under networking and the IPX/SPX and the file and print sharing AND STILL!!!!!!! NOTING
Plese help ASAP
*Note I check tommorow*😕

You'll need to be more specific on "...did all the things with...". Give us the settings for both computers.

Any special reason why you are using both TCP/IP and IPX??
Provide more details as to "all the things"...

ok listin I have both comps useing a Kingston KNE40T and both have TCP/IP installed and IPX/SPX everything that the poeple here told me to do and I also got cross ethernet Wire thing. I shared at least 1 file on both computer and still I can't see each other in the computer networking
I also added File and Print sharing for M$ networking
and the other clinets and still nothing

Add protocol Microsoft NetBEUI. Then go C drive of each computer and right-click Share:Full each drive. Reboot each machine. Go to network neighborhood and you should be able to each machine's folder on the network. Good luck.

Read the step-by-step instructions at HomePCLAN and see if you have missed anything...

Did you also give them the exact same workgroup and an unique name?
