OK, I think it is time we have a trivia thread. I'll give the first one, and when that is answered, the winner gets to ask the next question and so on. I believe LOB has done this before, but it's been awhile...I'll start with an easy one:

The Constitution lists 3 "rights" that are never to be alienated(sp?). List them.

Actually, it's the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution, in which the founders proposed that all men are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable (sp) rights, and that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Several theories on the whole nine yards.

One is that in urban Chicago, exterminators would spread rat poison across an entire alleyway, which measured nine yards across. When they properly spread the rodent control measures, they spread it across "the whole nine yards."

In answer to the Dalai Lama controversy:

<<

Lhamo Dhondrub was, as Dalai Lama, renamed Jetsun Jamphel Ngawang Lobsang Yeshe Tenzin Gyatso - Holy Lord, Gentle Glory, Compassionate, Defender of the Faith, Ocean of Wisdom. Tibetans normally refer to His Holiness as Yeshe Norbu, the Wishfulfilling Gem or simply Kundun - The Presence.
