Tripple monitors?

I just set up a 2nd monitor on my system and was suppried at how easy it was to make run (32MB Radeon AGP and a Voodoo3 2k PCI with Win2k). I have another PCI video card and a free monitor, what would happen if I hooked thouse up too? Would windows be able to control 3 monitors?

Does anyone know if Win2K Pro has a limit to the number of monitors it can handle? Or even when it becomes a burden on the system? I have ran W2KPro with 4 Video Cards, one was a Dual Head G450, and it rocked, but the system seemed to be a little laggy.

Multimonitor support was originally designed by Microsoft to handle 9 devices - that may have been changed.

The question isn't really *whether* you can hook up a 3rd card and monitor - sure you can; its a question of what kind of card it is.

I have a rather antiquated Win2K system running 4 cards from 4 vendors - an AGP Rage128 and 3 PCI cards: a Matrox Mystique, a Voodoo Banshee and a Riva128. But I couldn't get a PCI Savage4 to work with any 2 of the other 3 PCI cards. No idea why, but some slot shuffling is sometimes necessary...
