any tripod that will fit all 3? or will i need to get special attatchments?

also... for my imaging class i need a 5megapixel camera... should i just get a cheap 5 megapixel camera for under $400? or should i just spend 800+ and get a digital rebel?

can't decide!

Your class actually specified that you need a 5 megapixel camera? That's kinda dumb.

Tripods use a standard size thread. Anything should fit.

they said...they would like a 5megapixel cam.
but if we have a 3 megapixel thatd be fine.

but as you can see i have a s200 which is 2mp.

what i can do is rent a nikon coolpix that they have. but i would have to buy a flash card for it because they only come with 32mb cards. and that wouldnt be helpful..thatd be like 8 pictures and itd be full.

so instead of buying a memory card im thinking of just buying a camera.

the Canon A95 is 5 megapixels at 399 or 499 (I can't remember which)...and I'm pretty positive it'd take to any standard tripod.

Is this an "Imaging" class or actually a photography class? I always recommend going film with photo classes, when you're just starting out, and learning all the basics.

the tripod mount is universial its all the same size on any camera

you coudl but the 3mp camera i have for sale, comes with plenty of storage as well check my sig
