Triple SLI

I'm definitely a novice and this is my first post. I haven't upgraded in about 5 years but have been researching for the last 2 months. I'm awaiting 'NF4' to go with an A64 based system. I found this site today thru google....I forgot what I typed. It looks fishy, and I've never heard of "triple SLI"....😕

I'd never buy from them, but just the fact they have that listed is puzzling.

Hahaha ... Sounds like the "MichaelsComputers" site that got posted around here awhile ago. Either that, or it's Go-L making a return. Either way, you're dead on in that it's 100% scam.

Welcome to the forums BTW. 😀

I doubt that some place in south central Illinois would have this technology on their hands.....although Nvidia's definition of SLI has multiple GPU verbage:

SLI Multi-GPU Technology
A revolutionary approach to scalability?combining multiple graphics cards in a PC to scale performance?NVIDIA® SLI? (Scalable Link Interface) multi-GPU technology takes advantage of the increased bandwidth of the PCI Express? bus architecture, and features intelligent hardware and software solutions that allow multiple GPUs to efficiently work together to deliver earth-shattering performance.

I think they mean triple monitor output. I.E. - two dvi outs make one SLI output, plus 2 more outputs left over.

the site does seem a bit fishy though. You can tell a non-native english speaker wrote the text.

LOL. Did you read the paragraph about your OS choices?

Fully Legal Not-Previously-Registered with Certificate of Authenticity
Activatable Copy of Windows XP on CD with Certificate of Legal Ownership

Full Version, Not just Upgrade Only like the others! Cheapest you will find on the web and the only one with Latest Service Pack 2 that contains Internet Explorer 6.3 with its built-in Pop-Up Ad Blocker and enhanced Data Execution Prevention and firewall (the first firewall to monitor outgoing packets to prevent viruses from sending your credit card numbers and other info to hackers.) It actually notifies you when a program tries to run so that viruses can't start invisibly! A MUST-HAVE, because today's internet is fraught with peril! Don't be a victim, order yours TODAY! Comes with All PCs or your choice of 32-bit or 64-bit WinXP, Win2k3sp1.218, Win2k4.074

"Internet Explorer 6.3"??? And someone trusts this company to build a PC for them?

And are they in fact offering an optional "fully legal" "full version" of 64-bit WinXP? I thought that wasn't out yet, and the only copy available was a beta that was timebomb-limited?

What is "Win2K4"? Windows 2004? What is that? (XP MCE 2004 maybe? 2005 is already out)

Not to mention some of the horribly blurry low-res pictures on their site, that look like they might have been icon-sized pictures stolen from other sites.

Lol he never left, he still has BS pasted all over his page like "A64 3800+ with 2000 mhz Bus"...sigh.

Edit: But it may well be Go-L...I checked their site and they are officially dead as of last Tuesday...probably just shifted assets through a few ringers and viola, new company!

Michael has toned it down quite a bit through. I would still never buy a computer from this goon, but Michael's site used to be completely hilarious. It was so bad, I thought it was a parody at first.

At least he's close....the HT *does* run at 2GHz 😉

Even if triple SLI was real, who could afford 3 600 dollar 6800Us and the power supply to feed all three of them with enough juice?
