triple secret maintenance possibly involving a moon walk

Perhaps the "moonwalk" refers to the finishing touches (mods, themes, etc) that they plan to add soon? Just hope it bring more stuff to the forums, I don't plan to be around during the outage.

Yeah, that's my main guess, probably just another forum diagnostic check. I'm guessing the web team probably isn't ready to add more mods and stuff quite yet until everything checks out okay.
 
You can do plenty if you plan everything out before hand. The entire front end could change if they planned it prior and just need to upload the files within that half hour.

Well, I don't see any changes. 🙁 Anyone else see anything?
 
Perhaps it's Speed/Performance related. Was getting the occasional Pause/Stoppage before....haven't noticed any so far, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything yet.
