It's no good for games.  Unfortunately - the resolution is way too high for modern video cards.  You'd need a crossfire/SLI setup at the bare minimum.
It's been done in the past (Matrox and their Parhelia supported what they called "surround gaming" - 3 monitor gaming), but most games were choppy as anything.
I think monitors like that may be good for gaming someday, but current video technology is primarily built for one monitor (albeit they can drive very high res ones now, so we're getting closer).
