Recently bought a 2016 Ford Escape. Not too long age i noticed the trip odometer had reset to zero. Checked the other setting & it was also reset. I usually only use it to track oil changes.
I watched it reset the other day at 2000 miles. What's the theory behind that change?
My 2008 Escape went to at least 5000 miles. I know it's not really a big deal but it irritates me when little things like that change.
Thanks for your input.
Odd...my F150 has two trip meters. I've left #1 unchanged since day one...because it also tracks average gas mileage, and only use #2 to track mileage by the tankful/trip.
yeah its idiotic how low some companies set those. they should all be good till 10k IMO. Long enough you can go on a long roadtrip and track mileage with it.
