Trinity is the One?

A buddy of mine of mine told me that Trinity is really the One (sorry Jet). He pointed out that the Oracle told Neo that he was not the one in the first movie, and the one would have to face a tough choice, to lose the one (s)he loves or go in after him in apparent suicide. Both neo and trin did that run, the next peice was that she wouldn't die, hence when neo saved her life in the second one it kept true. But as I remember, in the first one Trin was told she would love the person that would be the one, and that is why neo is it. Then he brought up some self-hate sh!t that explains in the third one, Trin will come to "love" herself and stop this self hatred. When I asked about what self hatred, he couldn't come up with anything solid, just that she does since she cannot do much to stop the advances of the machines or some garbage like that...

Have any of you heard of this theory too? Where are some Matrix forums?

The Oracle: I know. Poor Morpheus. Without him we're lost.

Neo: What do you mean, without him?

The Oracle: Are you sure you want to hear this? Morpheus believes in you, Neo. And no one, not you, not even me can convince him otherwise. He believes it so blindly that he's going to sacrifice his life to save yours.

Neo: What?

The Oracle: You're going to have to make a choice. In the one hand you'll have Morpheus' life and in the other hand you'll have your own. One of you is going to die. Which one will be up to you. I'm sorry, kiddo, I really am. You have a good soul, and I hate giving good people bad news. Oh, don't worry about it. As soon as you step outside that door, you'll start feeling better. You'll remember you don't believe in any of this fate crap. You're in control of your own life, remember? Here, take a cookie. You could make the argument that Neo doesn't truly become the One until he dies at the end of the first movie. He does some cool stuff up to that point, but after he dies...

Neo is the One, if for no other reason than the Wachowski brothers aren't as smart as some people give them credit for. I mean, c'mon, have you seen Assasins?
