It started Friday night, throwing up, vomiting, fever, congestion. After four days I am victorious!

Today I did my daily run for the first time since Thursday and I feel great! Bastard flue can kiss my ass! Treatment consisted of three gallons of orange juice, aspirin every 4 hours for the fever, multi-vitamin twice a day, don?t know how many cups of water and as much food as I could keep down.

I feel better than I did before the flue; as they say, "that which don't kill ya will make ya stronger". No anti-biotic, only medicine was Aspirin. Save your antibiotics for when you are 65 and have the flue!

Ok I'm done.

At first I was thinking, how can a monitor get the flue? Anyway, good job! I'd rather just take antibiotics and lay in bed all day while a girl waits on me hand and foot. :D

Actually I think it's "What doesn't kill us wears us down and eventually kills us."

It hit me hard at about 3am this morning. There's nothing like waking up out of a peaceful slumber and going full throttle blowing chunks for the next 15 mins, every hour on the hour. Guess I should down some OJ and hit up the MVs. I'm usually just a really, really cranky bastard and try to scare the illness away, but a little help with that never hurt no one! :)

The flue is a virus, antibiotics would not help in any case. In fact, the overuse of antibiotics is making many of them worthless as the bacteria develop immunities to them. Don't take antibiotics for the flue.

Glad you are feeling better though.

Chimney sweeps work with "the flue" every day. :)

Flue is a pipe, Flu is short for Influenza virus.

Cheers!

Yeah well I had the "Flue!" :D (never have been big on spelling - somehow I won a journalism award in high school? :) ).
