If you have a bunch of different messanger softwares installed on your computer, try out Trillian. It combines IRC, ICQ, AIM, MSN and Yahoo all in one program. Does it alot beter that Odigio thats for darned sure. Also, you can have multiple accounts open at the same time... like 2 aim screennames... its really good.

no i dont work for them. i just like it alot.

It's nice... and it's in continuous development so it will keep getting better. I've used it now for about five months and haven't had any problems. The skins are great too!

I'd love to see some improvements though, like a pop-up tooltip from the tray icon when one of your buddies comes online. At present all you can have is a ugly dialog box that you have to click off.

Anyway, it is definitely worth checking out, if only as a replacement for the bloated, terrible ICQ client (that's what I orginally downloaded it for). But it's nice to throw my MSN, AIM, and Yahoo buddies in there too. Efficient!

Agreed. Trillian is AWESOME.

The best feature though is its ability to store messages, which always comes in handy, especially if you're like me and you close inactive windows, and all of a sudden the person IMs you and you have to ask them what they said..

As soon as they start supporting unicode so I can use diff. languages I'll start using it.

bigd: its got built in functionality, you dont need to even have AIM or ICQ on your computer.

i'd get it but it asks for my icq password. i don't have an email on my ICQ so i don't know how to get my password.

Trillian rocks the house. all they need is a file transfer option and eventually a vioce chat option (like yahoo has) and I will be even happier.

You don't understand, this IS AIM, AND ICQ, AND Yahoo Messanger, ALL in one. So with Trillian you CAN talk to all your AIM butt-ies.

I don't like the interface. Too fruity for me, I downloaded it and then quickly unistalled it. To me, it wasn't worth it. And I forgot my ICQ password
