Well I have just got the beta2 of the next HUGE update to trillian and so far they've added quite a few features. Here is a list out of the readme.

There are quite a few things I'm really happy about. There are tons of new features to play with and looks like this release (whenever its officially out) is going to be a good one.

"Pro" versions are usually ones you have to buy.....at least that's what I've noticed.

from the little reading on the trillian forums about the hush hush next version, the pro version will be aimed at business users that will have added features the free version will not.

yeah, i know what you mean.. it's nice to see what the new features are though.. thanks neomits.. over on their own forums, you cant discuss anything about the new version. very tight lipped about it..

damn, version 1.0 still doesn't offer unicode support, I like everything about trillian, but unicode support is crucial to me. Anyone know when it will be incorporated?

quick question.. is the profile bug in aim fixed? I dunno if they are workin on it or not.. but it's reported a lot.. ppl just say "shut down properly" but that doesn't always work.

well, i dunno if it's a bug or what, but trillian will not always save your profile in AIM. It'll reset to the previous one when you start it up again. and yes, i'm shutting down trillian before i restart my machine. sometimes it'll work, sometimes it won't. I've noticed an AIM-temp.ini is sometimes created, sometimes it's not. usually it'll have the new profile in it.. but it doesn't copy over.

btw, any estimates on when it may be release?
