Anyone having trouble using Trillian's yahoo client lately? I've tried their forums and they dont seem to be up at the moment. I cannot connect to Yahoo, and when I attempt to do so, Trillian messes up and shuts down. Oh, and I am using version .74, btw. Thanks.

Same here. Some connects just fail, others crash trillian (maybe yahoo is hacking us ;)). I'm using 0.74E.

Yahoo did some changes on Thursday to stop spammers. We will have to wait for an update for Trillian.

If you look at Trillians web site, it will tell you how to change your ini file to stop yahoo from loading at start up.

Trillian is aware of it.
Try checking out their FAQ on their site regarding this issue

...or hoping to force us to pay for pro

heh, i find that quote funny... there is very little software on my PC that i have paid for, but the $25 for Trillian was WELL worth it

Bad News

This was intentionally done by yahoo to limit use of third party software (trillian and others) from accessing their network. :|
