Sorry for not responding in the last few days. Well, I ended up getting the 2600 and then replacing it for 2600K this morning 'cause it arrived earlier than it should have, and I consider myself lucky for getting a K cpu at all. Pretty much all of them were reserved in advance and just like before, no 2500Ks left.

Since I managed to get my hands on a K cpu, I started overclocking and I'm currently at 4.5GHz with HT on, at 1.325V idle (1.352V at load) and I've got some fascinating results when compared to my previous pc. Overall, I'm happy with this upgrade 'cause it more than doubled the performance I was getting with Q6600.
