i was wondering if somebody on here would explain to me how to determine the distance fron 3rd base to 1st base. A baseball diamond is 90 ft. on all 4 sides. I did this stuff years ago when i was a machinist in Silicon Valley but i never memorized this stuff. I used a trig book that had all the formulas in it. Thanks

i think it would be a 45 45 90 degree triangle probably. 90 times square root of 2=127.3?

or do pythagorean theorem with the hypotenuse being the distance you seek. 90^2 + 90 ^2 = c^2 so c = square root of (90^2 + 90^2) = 127.3
