Living in the Bay Area (South Bay), we have tons of Mexican places to choose from, yet I still pick Chipotle most of the time. I agree, it is pricey.

South Bay is much better than North Bay. Mexican in this area is pure shit. There is exactly one food truck that is good--and it is very good--but the rest of the Mexican restaurants in my area are turd.

I've had Chipotle a couple dozen times (people insist on going there for lunch) its basically only edible when drenched in every salsa they have and smothered in guacamole.

You're claiming Taco Bell has more flavor than Chipotle? 😵

You got the milder set of stuff on yours though. Doesn't surprise me. White rice? Really? Can't get more boring than that!

Brown rice, black beans, meat of your choice (I like the steak) tomato and corn salsas, sour cream, cheese, lettuce. There you go. Has more kick to it. If you want even more, get some of the red hot sauce. And it costs under $7.

Feel sorry for you guys that Chipotle is the best you can get.

Not all Chipotles are equal. Some make better burritos than others. But yeah, if you think Chipotle is bland, it's not that they don't know how to season their food, it's more like you're eating way too much sodium from other food.

As I thought about this, the truly ironic thing about the bold's a burrito from Chipotle has more sodium than all but a very few select other fast food items. So by your logic here Chipotle should tastes amazing.

a burrito from there has 2,656mg of sodium

The Baconator I get from Wendys with EIGHT strips of bacon 1/2lb of meat & 2 slices of cheese has a lot less sodium than a Chipotle burrito.

This is exactly what I order when I go!
