Tried CCleaner?

Has anyone tried CCleaner? I saw it available on FilePlanet, but surprisingly, I had never heard of it.

people have used it in conjunction with a couple other apps with success while others seem to object to its ability to actually improve anything

I use it. The purpose of it is do do just what it is designed to do. Clean CRAP.

Works for me.

Yep I've used it for about a year now as well.

I've set it to to run when my PC starts up.

I think its brilliant and does exactly what I need it to and quickly.

I love it, but I think its off by how much it removes...one time it said it remove 7GB...common? :S

Heh, 7GB is uncommon. You obviously had a lot of crap files on your HDD.

crap cleaner is great
