Trickle down economics. I mean it's in the name -

at best it trickles, but really, the trickle is so small it's insignificant. we all knew this but a new study is out.

"
Large tax cuts for the rich don't lead to economic growth and employment but instead cause higher income inequality, a new study that examined tax cuts over 50 years suggested.

A recent paper by David Hope of the London School of Economics and Julian Limberg of King's College London found that tax cuts for the rich in 18 countries predominantly benefited the wealthy.

"Our analysis finds strong evidence that cutting taxes on the rich increases income inequality but has no effect on growth or unemployment" in the short and long term, the researchers wrote."

Been a very effective propaganda campaign by the .01 percent.

*Socialism communism doesnt work!!! Look at Venezuela!!!! Its where AOC is from*
- And hammer it 1.000.000.000 times on Fox news.

What did Trump call the taxcut? Rocket fuel for the economy?

And yet something so obvious as Republican economic policy that has been proven to be debunked by multiple studies and by many data points, continues to be parroted by republicans and their supporters and such policies continue to be voted for.

So how do we change that?

So trickle down works as intended?

So how do we change that?

It is a religion at this point.

So the principle method to undermine them is for us to recruit by any means possible. While maintaining this wealth of information and fact checking for anyone who can listen. While leaving an open handed invitation for anyone who wants to see economic improvement in America.

It's been a decades long top down class warfare looting spree, AKA "Maximizing shareholder value". It'd not like the Job creators are obligated to create jobs. Quite the contrary.

Why do you think we are basically forced to have a 401k. Saving money in a bank is for morons so they say.

"Trickle down economics" is just the rich people pissing on your head and face...and convincing you that it's raining.

Some Presidents people are into that*

*please note, the Steele dossier did not report Trump partook in the golden shower, but rather paid 2 Russians prostitutes to pee on the bed the Obamas used when they visited Moscow. I often feel this is misrepresented in jokes and memes about Trump and don't want to promote the misrepresentation myself, but could not pass up the joke in this instance.

Voodoo Economics work exactly how it's designed to work.

The lie is that it would help people outside of the already rich and powerful.

Sort of in the same bucket :

"“Because if you create that vacuum, there are so many nefarious forces at play to fill that vacuum with something even worse. And so, the actual sad state of affairs is that there are folks more conservative than even they are willing to ... fill that void.”"

- Specifically, what "nefarious forces" are she referring to? Lobbyists?

Hmm, something happened in the 80’s that I just can’t put my finger on.

So trickle down works as intended?

For the wealthy, yessir, it's been working very very well. So well that they've managed to convince those poor conservative folks who vote Repub to think that their Social Security checks, welfare assistance, Medicare/Medicaid and Affordable Care Act benefits are somehow not socialism because they benefit from those programs yet these same programs are commie socialism to everyone who vote for those Democrat degenerates.
