Hopefully it will be better than Tribes 2 - they more or less killed the franchise by releasing that bug-ridden mess.

Sadly, you're correct. Really a pity, since the game was really damn cool aside from the buggy mayhem.

Hehe. They actually did get most of the kinks worked out after the gazillionth patch, but everyone had gotten fed up and moved on to other games by then. I have to say, the game did have it's moments tho......nothing like getting a buddy to drop you (in full-on heavy armor w/fusion mortar) into the other team's base to open a can on them for as long as your armor holds out.

They need to better incorporate the patch process. Something as simple as linking it to a weapon reload. Everytime you reload... you're patched.

After Tribes 2, there is no way they are going to get any of my money again. There are way too many good games out there to take a chance on something that may suck. Yeah! I'm talking about UT2003 also!
