Tribes 2 problem

Hi all. I recently got tribes 2 and it doesnt run on any system I have. It installs fine, mission starts to load but after in loads "objects" it bounces back to the desktop. I have tried it on a system with a Radeon vid card with WinME and a system with a geforce ddr with win98SE and got the same results. Both systems have dx8.0a and latest working drivers. Anyone else having this type of problem? I did a search and found many posts but not with the probs I am having. Thanks.

What mode are you running in?

If your in d3d switch to openGL
If your in openGL switch to d3d

I tried both modes, same results.

do you have a firewall and/or antivirus software running ...disable them...
Have you updated the game with the patch? I had this problem and would get a PNG error....also try to detweak the game.
Make sure sure microphone is enabled..when I disabled it the game would crash on the loading...
There are just too many tweaks which can cause prob in my opinion

You running the 7075's?

Sounds kinda like a video driver problem but the 7075's work. I've used the 7078's and 7099's also. Actually I haven't heard of a Radeon driver that doesn't work with T2.

Tried reinstalling the game?

Well, I have now tried it on 4 seperate completly different machines with completely non-similar specs and get the exact same problem. This sucker is going back to the shop! POS!

That's wierd I had not problems out of the box, try to get another copy of it.
