Tribes 2 For $9.99 at BA Fry's

Bleh this game is not worth the CD its printed on.

(Sorry for the rant) some people might enjoy this game but I was so hyped up about this game when I bought it. I felt like I was ripped off when I paid the $50 for it 🙁

and now back to our regularly scheduled programming......

Haha! I agree! But, I just bought this Worthless POS game for 9.99. Sigh. At least I didn't spend more for it... I just read in PlayBoy magazine Witch I got a free subscription too thanks to this place. Anyway. This months issue they said tribes was #6. Damn! Unreal is better then that game. I looked at the keyboard map 80% of the keys are mapped out!!! Like I'm going to hold down Control Keys to remember how to DROP a weapon! Sheesh! Right! I'm lazy. I just want good graphics and to kill lots of things. This game sucks to say the least. I guess that is what you get when you rely on PlayBoy for your gamming needs! GRIN!!! I bet a lot of research went in to that one.

I'm a thinking I could always post it on E-gay.

 
I disagree strongly with the prior comments, Tribes 2 is a fantastic game-AFTER you have installed the patches (there is a bunch of large ones). Lots of active servers, lots of fun. Well worth the $10 ($5 after the rebate).
 
Tribes2 can be pretty cool when you have over 50 people in the game.

It offers large scale tactical warfare like no other fps. Plus the vehicles are pretty cool.

Nevertheless, it is buggy, slow, the physics is frustrating, and you never have enough energy in the jet pack.

It has its moments.
