Trevor reacts to a Fox News pundit who lashed out at him for getting involved in America's gun control debate.

I think he's finally come out of Jon Stewart's shadow and he's making valid points which ofcourse won't connect to conservaterrorists since they're brain dead low information voters who just parrot fake news.

I've started watching Daily Show again, with Trevor Noah that is, about 6 months ago and he has really grown on me. Granted, it took a while to "let go" of Jon Stewart, but I genuinely enjoy watching Trevor Noah show now. I would actually put him above Colbert now. Noah is a very insightful person if you watch his "between the scenes" pieces on youtube (watch one on North Korea for example), and he's not afraid to set a serious tone to his interviews and ask actual questions instead of comedic one liners. I hope that "Daily Show" will keep living on.

It doesn't really take much to make perfectly valid points against the right wing echo chamber, they operate knowing their crowd doesn't spend a lot of time vetting their sources and/or taking a gander at a history book. It's a bit like fishing with dynamite.

Regardless, I've seen Noah deliver and I've seen him crash. Overall I approve of him, but honestly I would still prefer Stewart. I've yet to see anyone stick the comedic knife and twist as good as he did. That man kicked the Cheney/Bush admin so hard, so much, they limped out bow legged and whimpering.

But that was back when a sizeable portion of republicans still had an idea what shame was. Those days are gone.

Okay

"Pro-Life Congressman Tim Murphy Aborts His Career: The Daily Show"

That one almost had me in tears from the headline alone.

If that's what noah has turned into then I might start watching again. Those clips were good. His early tds stuff was very shallow and amounted to fart humor so I quit watching.

It's gotten much better. TDS wasn't nearly as good as it was before dubya and the Iraq war, that nudged Jon and crew into the show it was when he left.

Was going to say: it took a while for Stewart to find his 'voice' and go beyond the usual evening show comedy. Looks like Noah found his too, and like Stewart it's unfortunately because of a horrible political situation.
