Tretton: PS3 will be "difficult to cost reduce"

IMO ps3 launch was ruined by the scalpers. all the real gamers that might have laid down 600 bucks to buy one instead bought a 360 or wii. this is what has caused all the sales problems for ps3 so far, the fact that its 600 dollars and everything else that people say is bad about it isnt the real problem. its after the holidays now and its always slow this time of year, hell just look at the amount of games being released in the next 3 months for all consoles and even PC. practically non-existant. ps3 wont recover until next december.

Maybe even 3D0

I have a feeling that the used ps3's will be coveted like saturns are because people will mod them and figure out how to play games for free, do cool linux things with them, and maybe dvr functionality.
Someone on here already posted a link to a "Blue-Ray Hacked" thread.
