That's a really good deal on this phone. It was selling for $600 a few weeks ago. Great phone btw, much better than the old Treo 300.

Bump.

This is a brand spanking new 600$ phone people! :)

Couple it with a 70$ 256 meg SD card and you got a sleek gadget that plays MP3s, takes pictures, runs Palm 5.2 and is a cell phone all in one...

IMO its only competition out there for best PDA phone is the Sony Ericsson P900... And that is much more expensive and uses Memory stick duo, which is a ripoff.

Awesome price, but the deal is ruined by the fact that you have to overpay each month for sprint serivce. If only T-mobile had this deal........

Nice phone, but two years with Sprint is just plain awful. One year is bad enough but I can't see how Sprint will be two years down the road, with all their customers flocking over to other companies with the new phone line legislation having taken place.

I just got this phone from Best Buy for $399. Great device.

In my experience, Sprint coverage and service is no worse than Verizon. Verizon coverage and Sprint coverage are equal in all the areas that I've lived in (Maryland/DC and now Colorado Springs). Verizon voicemail truely sucks. I some times get messages that are several days old or have been deleted. Worse, some times calls go directly into voicemail. As bad as Sprint customer service is, Verizon has been worse in my experience. The last time I called about poor reception from my phone, the customer service suggested that I buy another phone at my expense (I had the motorola T720) eventhought my phone was only a couple of weeks old. I told that rep that I'd change to another carrier...she literally yelled at me 'do what ever the hell you want!' then hung up. At least Claire never yells.

Just my .02: I don't know why everyone else has probs with Sprint. I have been with their service since 2000, and their coverage/service seems awesome to me (and yes, this is coming from visiting/driving/living in different states coast to coast).

Does this apply to existing customers as well? Can I activate this on my current account?

it says for new service agreements. i wonder if adding an additional line with "add a phone" and changing to a higher plan would constitute as being new and qualify for the $200 amazon rebate.

BTW I just got my phone last wednesday two weeks before I was scheduled to, and so far, I have to say I haven't a single complaint with my phone nor my service... The phone rocks!!! It's intuitive and it doesn't have a single nagging issue! Except it could use some rubber treads on the side for grip...

Even sprint is okay now. I'm getting and receiving calls, and they didn't even charge me for selling my current contract to someone else so I can start a new one. And the lady I spoke to was actually nice...

And... :)
15 bucks gets you infinite internet access per month.

for the people that say sprint sucks... boo to you! :)

it's regional really...in southern california, i get service everywhere i go where my nextel didn't. up in the mountains as well!

i've only had sprint since may but i've heard more complaints here then anywhere! my brother use to work for verizon and he says that sprint and verizon share almost the same networks. their internet system is setup the same, but sprint offers it for free if you have the vision plan.

my girl has had sprint since 98 and she loves it...i tried getting her to switch but she won't budge. so instead i joined in with her and it's been really good. just my .02 :)

Any way to make this work for existing Sprint customers? My Sanyo SCP-6000 is dying and I have about 7 months left in my contract. I really would like this phone, as it would be perfect to replace my Toshiba and cellphone together. I've been dying for something like this.

Great phone! Great price!

The Sprint Store will often match competetive offers. This might be a way to avoid the $200 Amazon rebate. They'll still make you do the Sprint $150 via Rebate...

Ok thanks, I was planning on heading over there anyways. The last time I talked to a rep on the phone, they said I can get $150 off a new phone because I have had service and had this same phone for 18 months. It doesn't make sense that I should pay more for this phone as a 2 year old customer compared to a new customer.

my dad has this phone. He loves it. He switched from AT&T to sprint to get it. Everyone should know the AT&T phone works off of GSM while the Sprint phone works off of PCS. We live in that area between surburbia and country and PCS works way better than GSM. Yes he tried both. Also the sprint phone has a raised ear piece while the AT&T phone does not. Be carefull if you have AT&T and try out the Trio as by doing that renews your contract. Sprint has a deal where you can return it if PCS doesn't work for you.

I may of worked out an awsome deal .... On top of the amazon deal ...I have been complaining about my phone for months now (A500) .... and they said they were willing to do an upgrade from my A500 to whatever phone ....I would have to pay the difference (ive been a customer for 5 years) ..basically I would have to buy the phone through them and they would credit me for the A500 when I sent it in.... ($225) so If I can get it through Amazon and all of the rebates it would only be like $150 ...not bad ... but I was thinking of the Samsung I-500 instead ...anyone see a review for this phone...???
