I wonder how these compare to the PremierTek PT-8812AU adapters, with the RealTek USB3.0 AC1200 RTL8812AU chipset? I have a few of those, they get great speeds (20MB/sec to my NAS on gigabit to my AC1200 AP, also gigabit), but they drop out when streaming internet radio, for some reason. (Even while tranferring files to the NAS over wireless at the same time, the file-copy connection doesn't blip.)
Yet, a different PC (An AIO with wireless N 5Ghz, connected to the same AC1200 AP on 5Ghz), doesn't blip either. So it's not the internet connection, and not the AP. Something about the PT-8812AU adapters seems to suddenly "blip" for some reason. Don't know why.
