I first saw them when I was playing EQ.
I didn't notice them and figured they were trees.
Then when they moved, I was quiet startled.

And I'd be willing to bet a fair bit of money that the Treants in The Two Towers will look much better than the blocky pseudo-3D graphics in EverCrack.

Treebeard is an Ent. And the name you are looking for is Saruman not Sauron.

And they don't really take *him* down, they just destroy the area around Isengard.
Gandalf is the one that takes down Saruman specifically.
