treadmills

how much are you willing to spend ? We had been looking for some and they are at least $500 unless you go with a cheap-feel or manual one for $200.
 
I have a Pro-form that my wife and I have used at least 3x a week for a year, now. Its been good, no mechanical problems, but the controlls / handles are cheaply constructed.
 
Precor or True for high end stuff
Vision Fitness for mid range
Haven't looked at anything under that
 
I would like to spend around $500 for the treadmill, although I realize that you get what you pay for when it comes to treadmills.
 
So i post the deal of a lifetime over in hot deals a few months ago, with no responses, and now people want treadmills.

I think the general opinion on the Smooth treadmills are very good. Used Precors (home-use only) can be good bargain buys. Life fitness is good too. The only time you should buy any Icon fitness product is when you can get it like I did at 1/2 price, otherwise it just isn't worth it.

That being said, my reebok w/the big nordictrack motor is holding up well.
