Ok I live in central PA and mapquest/google all say the wayt to go is through philly to get to AC. I am going to a Flogging Molly concert tomorrow and I dont want to go through philly at 5-6pm and be late for the show that starts at 8. Anyone have some experience with this and could give me the best way to avoid the horrible traffic that is philly(Yes I know its not the worst..I have been to DC)

DC isn't that bad compared to Chicago....

Edit: BTW....maybe you should go to AAA and ask them for the quickest route for that time of day. They will probably have the fastest route with speed traps, etc...

Depending on where your coming from you can take 78 into NJ and get there that way. While itll be longer you should be ok with traffic.

Get into Philly and take the Franklin bridge over to the AC expressway.

I was working in the area a couple of years ago (south of Philly) so never had a serious traffic problems when I would head east.

Look for the easiest way to the airport coming in from the west and then just loop up.

Or head south from the airport cross on 322 and head back north - this way would be less potential form traffic; however, much more out of the way by 20-30 minutes.

did it.. this is what I did..

76 to valley forge
476 south
95 south
322 east....the 276 that i was going to take the express way was closed due to a spill...so I took 322 pretty much all the way to AC...hit the express way a bit before it.

With the express way being closed, it was a reasonable option.
Otherwise he would have had to drop south more and take 40 over.
