Transmission.

a little OT..but I was at an Allison Transmission wherehouse the other day. I saw at least 1000 transmissions laid out in open topped crates. it wsa kinda eirie

there were also tank transmissions (I think) they were friggen huge

I was getting my flywheel surfaced at a machine shop the other day... They had this huge straight 8 block out of a '41 Packard there. It was pretty cool.

WOW, bet you can't find many parts for the motor anymore!! I have a growing..actually budding...passion for cars from that era
