I have seen it and it is good. :Q

No doubt you saw a pirated copy...so it will be even better in theaters.
They usually get press to see movies before they come out so the reviews come out at the same time the movie does. With a particuarly AWFUL movie they tend not to hold press-screenings, something which does not go unnoticed.

Also, they sometimes just have pre-screenings to help hype it up. In Raleigh I got early screening passes all the time from comic book stores.

It has already been screened in few locations around the world, so the OP is legit.

STFUNOOB.

Well, the op is making a pretty bold claim. Essentially he's saying he saw an early premier. That deserves some validation and/or confirmation in the form of some tidbit of info no one knows yet (w/o giving away too much!)

Heh if it was me as the OP, everyone yelling shens and calling me stupid, I would just tell the ending. They would shut up after that.

AintItCoolNews had someone catch an early screening of it and they were pretty enthusiastic about it. I'm not even going to post the link as it might be considered spoilerish. If you want it, go find it yourself. :p

From RT:

As the July 4 release date approaches and the film nears completion, producers of "Transformers" unveiled it to a public. News of a test screening of the film revealed some details about the final cut from producer Tom DeSanto.

"[It tested] higher than any other of Michael [Bay]'s movies," said DeSanto. "It's good, everybody's excited. It's a great time right now because in a summer of sequels, we're going to be bringing something new to the table."

Nobody said they had to change the ending, which is good. "It's one ending. It's one story. It's a beginning, middle and end. The ending works. It's great too because yeah, there's going to be giant robots but there's romance in there and Shia has a real emotional storyline that at the end, you're really rooting for him."

DeSanto confirmed star LaBeouf's estimate that the film had 20 set pieces. "I would say he's probably right on target. You know when you go to Six Flags and there's the new roller coaster that outdoes every other roller coaster? That's going to be 'Transformers.' We're doing things, and the fun this is it hasn't been done before. It's all new stuff."

The running time even came in shorter than previous estimates. "The picture was just about two [hours]."

What are you, the official Transformers fan club historian? Get a life.

Michael Bay can only make movies full of noise and violence catering to a 10 year olds intellectual level. This ought to be the perfect project for him.

I would think it's safe to say that a lot of the folks that visit here watched the G1 transformers and not the abominations that followed. It shows after the original voice actors for Optimus Prime and Megatron were picked up for the Transformers videogame, which looks pretty sweet too (June 26 release).

I'm not saying the series after G1 were good, but converting an 80s cartoon into a modern live-action movie requires creative freedom. A carbon-copy of G1 (voice actors, models, etc.) would have sucked donkey testicles.
