Well, in "The Secret of Omega Supreme", Omega Supreme becomes the Contructicon's enemy after they destroy Crystal City. Later, Omega and Devastator duke it out as some giant space hatchling eats San Franscisco. I think here is another episode that gives Earth as the Constructicons place of origin and makes the Dinobots their main enemy. Of course dinobots can't merge into squat. i forget the title though.

Good call, I think you're right. 😉 I wish they had made some Decepticon Dinobots, that would've been groovy. The one problem I had with Transformers as a kid was that there were like 20 Autobots, and only a few Decepticosn . . . Megatron, the three jets, the tape deck, and his four tapes, and that was it! I think there were three that combined into a camera, also. But on the early TV shows they always had these generic Decepticons to make the fights seem less off-balanced. 😀

Here's a list...

Devastator - 6 Constructicons
- Hook, Long Haul, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, Mixmaster,
Scrapper

Superion - 5 Aerialbots
- Silverbolt, Slingshot, Air Raid, Skydive, Fireflight
- Stunticon counterpart

Menasor - 5 Stunticons
- Motormaster, Dragstrip, Dead End, Breakdown, Wildrider
- Aerialbot counterpart

Defensor - 5 Protectobots
- Hot Spot, First Aid, Groove, Blades, Streetwise
- Combaticon counterpart

Bruticus - 5 Combaticons
- Onslaught, Blast Off, Swindle, Brawl, Vortex
- Protectobot counterpart

Predaking - 5 Predacons
- Razorclaw, Rampage, Tantrum, Divebomb, Headstrong
- extremely cool

Computron - 5 Technobots
- Scattershot, Strafe, Lightspeed, Nosecone, Afterburner
- Terrorcon counterpart

Abominus - 5 Terrorcons
- Hun-Gurr, Sinnertwin, Blot, Cutthroat, Rippersnapper
- Technobot counterpart

Piranacon - 6 Seacons
- Snaptrap, Seawing, Overbite, Nautilator, Tentakil, Skalor
- after making 4 limbs, Piranacon uses the last TF as his gun

Monstructor - 6 Monster Pretenders
- Birdbrain, Bristleback, Icepick, Scowl, Slog, Wildfly
- about the height of Hot Rod and very chunky
-

Some people theorize that Omega Supreme is the counterpart despite not being a set due to the reasons unclebabar outlined.

I haven't watched the original in a while, wasn't there also something about the Constructicons originally being Autobots that defected to the Decepticons? It'd help explain the shortage of Autobot sets.

combaticons vs. protectobots
predacons vs. sky lynx

I think the Decepticons also had some fishy robots that (6 Seacons) than never made it in the cartoon, but was spotted at Toys R Us.

Cool info Vinny. 😀

Interesting how there were 6 small-sized bots for the Constructicons, then 4 little ones and 1 big one in all of the rest, save for the Piranacons (I always mix those up with the Sharkticons.)

> Megatron, the three jets, the tape deck, and his four tapes, and that was it! I think there were three that combined into a camera, also.

yeah that was pretty lame. three jets and all the same except for the color and prob. the decals. Reflector was the camera's name, and i think the only way to get it was by mailing in robot points.

After last season's CAR ROBOTS (better known as Robots in Disguise here in the states) ... i'd have to say the Build Team would NOW be the Constructicon's enemies...

Yeah, in the Secret of Omega Supreme episode, Megatron uses a device called the 'Robosmasher' to reprogram the Constructicons. Luckily for him, they were already Constructicons (not Constructobots) so he did not also have submit a petition for name to change to Circuit Court. Omega adds, "Megatron used the Robosmasher to swell the ranks of the Decepticons."

I think the real reason there wasn't a multipart Autobot counterpart to Devastator was because it was too hard to design. I mean, if you've ever seen the toys, you know that to build Devastator, you have insert can politely be described as Scavenger's *wanker* , into a slot in Hook.

Did Jetfire/Skyfire ever fight Devastator?

The one I liked...
You're in luck. Some G1 characters are being re-released, including Optimus Prime as the pimp-ass square truck. You can be damn sure I'm gonna go get one. 😀 Megatron and Starscream, too, if they get released.

Once again it looks as though the 'Toon network has ruined another classic toon. 🙁

amish

It could have been worse. FAR worse. Did you see the abominations they made out of the Hannah Barbera cartoons? The Jetsons and Yogi Bear were absolutely destroyed and turned into disgusted and idiotic "cartoons" :|

I don't believe they've reaired them. People would be rolling in their graves...

Maybe ill try to find this later on Kazaa or something ....
Anywayz does someone have a timeline as to what all went on? or how all the series connect. I of course remember the origional, the movie....after that is blank until recently I was like a CG version of autobots as animals and the decepticons as dinosaurs.....then I saw another CG version on FOX that had the autobots as cars and trucks again.....isn't Armada made with the regular drawing in cells?
