Cool stuff, but fortunately I have space. I do wonder, though, what maintenance of that type of furniture is like. I imagine wear and tear of some of those joints could cause serious operational issues.

well they are made by Italians... so I don't expect too much. (the video says they have lifetime warranty, but don't know how will that work out though, so you ship the whole bed back to them?)

Some seriously cool stuff but I wonder how much they charge for it.

from their own website, price are not listed and are 'by request only.'

and hey Tsaico! haven't seen you for a while man.

Reminds me of that.. I think it was a Hong Kong house where a guy has a ton of stuff in this puny "closet-esque" apartment.

That's really awesome until you need something other than a sheet on the bed. Of course, if you live in a 200 square foot studio apartment, I suppose you can afford to keep it hot enough inside so that you don't want anything other than a sheet.

those would be great in a multi-purpose room.

i was talking to my Wife's sister about college (she is a jr this yr) and this would be great for dorm rooms or a apartment.

Any website that says "Request a quote" means "You'll crap your pants when you see the price, so we won't post it unless we have a chance to speak with you to justify everything."

our 1991 5th wheel trailer has a table like that. It has side leafs, and collapses to be used as the coffee table. I'll post some pics.

Wow, I didn't even think to check for things like that. I was looking at some the other day & was absolutely amazed by some of the interiors. If those interiors served more dual purposes (besides the typical table turns into a crappy bed), I might have ended up driving one home last weekend. But, I'm pretty sure I'm replacing/upgrading from the popup we have.

Those beds don't look comfortable at all.

I have a bed with wooden slat "springs" like those in this video, but with a regular mattress and its perfectly comfortable, more so than a traditional box spring. This guy is claiming these mattresses are memory foam which probably means that shit is even more comfortable than what I'm sleeping on.

But like others have said this shit is probably super expensive, its meant for super small living spaces in high population density areas where the cost of space will rape you and thus you could justify paying thousands for such furniture if its going to save you even more in rent.
