Transferring Heatsink

Hi Guys,

I just purchased a p4 3.0 prescott and currently have no heatstink for it. Can I take off the heatsink on my p4 1.7 CPU and stick it on my 3.0 or should I get a new heatsink?

The HSF from a P4 1.7:

a) probably won't fit onto a Socket T Prescott, and

b) probably will not cool a 3.0Ghz P4E adequately.
 
I am unsure if the 1.7 heatsink would work or not, and even if it would physically fit, it's designed for less heat dissipation than the 3.0 heatsink (as the prescotts run very warm)

I'd buy a heatsink in this case for sure.
