Transferring files from PI to laptop

Can someone please tell me how to transfer files from a PI-133MHZ computer to my new laptop? THANKS A BUNCH!

lets see:
floppies
direct cable connection
ethernet
remove laptop harddrive and install in desktop
zip drive
email
ftp
burn data to CD

there are lots of ways, we need more information to help you
like budget, amount to move and any existing hardware that would help (eg. nics, zip drive)

i do not have fast internet connection, i dont have a burner *no one's dumbe enough to make burners for pI machines*, and i dont have a zip drive.. basically, i have an ethernet card on my PI, and that's it.

If you also have access to a PCMCIA ethernet card for your laptop, get a crossover category 5 cable, and connect the two. Then transfer the files over the network.

What speed do you think computers were running at when burners hit the market? I had a friend with a 2x burner in his P120, and it worked fine, you just couldn't do anything until the CD was finished.

Your fastest and cheapest bet is to get a 44pin-40pin adapter and put the laptop drive in your desktop. If you are not comfortable removing the laptop drive, then the slow buy easy solution is to get a USB-USB cable. No USB?, then get Laplink with a parallel cable for even slower transfers.
