transferring autocomplete passwords

I've finally switched computers after years and i'm finding the transferring process terribly annoying.

ie) in Outlook, i rely heavily on my autcomplete saved email addresses.

I also rely heavily on saved passwords when browsing the internet.

is there a way i can transfer all of these also???

IE Maybe
his information is stored in your registry:

These are the keys involved, but as you will see they are encrypted.

AutoComplete, User Names and Passwords on Forms:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\SPW

AutoComplete, Web Addresses:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System
Provider\<user name or windows logon name>

You could try and export the keys to the other computer, but I haven't tried it, so no guarantees.

The autocompletion name cache and the address book (or Contacts folder) are
completely unrelated. If you want to move your name cache to another PC,
configure Outlook on that other PC and copy the file
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\yourprofile.NK2 (where "yourprofile" matches the
name of your mail profile on the current computer) to the other computer.
Put it in the same folder there and give it a name that matches the profile
name on that computer (like yourprofile2.NK2). Start Outlook and you should
have all of your autocompletion names available.

the correct way of transferring Outlook data on one machine to another.

Look in google groups for your versions

I'm having trouble even getting started on this. I don't know where to start.

For example, "If you want to move your name cache to another PC,
configure Outlook on that other PC and copy the file
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\yourprofile.NK2 (where "yourprofile" matches the
name of your mail profile on the current computer) to the other computer.
"

where do i even go to start this process?

making something like this an easy thing to do would be a HUGE security risk, so if you do find a way to do it, it is going to be a very big pain. This is why having few passwords that you can remember all of them is a good thing. If your hard drive crashed and you lost all of your passwords, what would you do then? Keep that in mind.
