Is there a simple way to do this, I have about 30gigs in music/pics and another 30gigs or so in games that I would like to transfer to my laptop. Is there some way I can use a USB port and just transfer files from there or do I need some special software? Normally I wouldnt need transfer anything but songs, but since some games like UT2k4 have multiple maps, in this case at least 100, I would like to avoid loading every map.

I know I posted this in networking, but seriously who looks at that, only 4 different people have looked at it.

Help me

Crossover cable for a direct connection. If you have a router or hub, share the directories and copy them over in Windows Explorer.

as DAGTA said, crossover cable is probably best if you don't have a hub, you can make it yourself if you have a spare ethernet cable. guides all over the web as to "what color wire goes where."

Floppies, lots and lots of floppies. and or email the files, you can break them up with winrar. Have fun :)
