Transcend 32, yes 32 GB USB Flash Drive

These are getting so big now that speed really matters. It would be nice if some site would speed test all these drives - at this size, if the stick is really slow, it's painful to use.
 
I have speed tested most USB sticks and have found the Transend Class 5 & 6 to be the fastest. The classification class seems to be the Maximun speed, in practice anyway for most brands. Most Transend sticks that I own will run much faster than their rated speed and I have not seen this in other brands, which often will not ever reach their claimed speed. HD TACH is one way to tes,t and while it will not run on VISTA or Win 7 in the normal mode, it runs fine in Win XP SP2 compatibility mode and is accurate in that condition. Transend is my choice in USB if speed is the criteria. I have also never had a failure with one, YMMV of course.
