Thanks for the thread OP...need to check this out when I get home to get some new tunes for running...

Anyone have a recommendation for fast beat trance...something around 150 to 170 bpm?

Yoji Biomehanika plays some 160 bpm stuff all the time.

You might want to check out "free form hardcore," if it still exists. It reminds me of hard trance at like... crazy BPM, around there.

When spinning trance, 140bpm is pretty pretty freaking fast, most are around 125-135 I think.

Current fav vocalist is Emma Hewitt, although my all time fav is Justine Suissa.

Also... I'm still debating whether I want to go to see Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, and Lange at the Ferry party tommorow (Friday). I want to go, it's only $40, but it's going to mess up my sleep schedule, workout schedule, and diet :[

150-170 bpm? Wow, that's very fast. I think you're more looking for that Hardcore/Happy Hardcore genre. Sorry, cant help you there

ok maybe a little slower...I was throwing a number out there...I guess I always try to run to something that has a little faster beat...something that gives you a decent rhythm.

Here are a couple I found recently that has a decent speed...

don't mind the terrible videos that goes with the song lol

I know, I'm a fan/follower of Circus and LMD, went to Kyau vs Albert last week.

Personally, I have never cared much for any of George Acosta's productions. It is usually one's productions that will determine whether or not I will even listen to them as a DJ.

I got my ticket to see Ferry though, he's one of my favs and so are Aly and Fila. Lange is alright, he's a big name (at least in the UK) that's been around forever, but not one of my favs.

You might be looking more at euro dance more than trance. Can't really help you there either :/

Trance isn't something that can be run to, it really needs to be sped up or I need slow your pace down to a jog.

Have a nice relaxing walk on the beach instead <3

Lucky bastard going to Ferry tonight. I'm working late, otherwise I would be there too! I've got some friends that are there tonight, as well as Kyau & Albert last week at Circus.

Anyways, www.astateoftrance.com is streaming live from New York right now as well as tomorrow night in celebration of it's 450th episode! Armin Van Buuren just had an awesome set! :)

YES! mate, art can bridge the impasses in cultural development...
Those that are negatively motivated, will eventually be lost under the weigh of humanities need for progression.
Enjoy and show the way. Show the power of positivity and coming to terms with who you really are in life. It's good to see the eastern mind now gets a looking culturally and spiritually, instead of be demonized by the medieval mind set of the modern western imperialism.
Why do they put hopps in beer? for the taste?
ohhh the hypocrisy!
