It's actually easy to poke fun when someone does funny shit. I'd laugh at you for trying to post pictures directly from your C drive on a web forum if I were sitting next to you too.

Don't be so uptight.

Edit: see, now you can laugh at me for double posting...

thank you ,i am uploading many more pictures ,,,the reason why i got the ati5970 was because there is so much detail in trainz 2010 and i can add far more as i make the map grow ,now people say when will trainz ever use that much power to run it,well as new development takes place in all games and as you all no the dx 11 games coming out ,if they bring out trainz in dx11 in 2 years or so i am covered for that ,as for computing power i can do nearly anything with this computer now .It isn't about push six displays it was about working all my life to be able to buy what i like to suite my needs ,as most of use do and i have worked all my life ,i have worked 2 jobs at once for nearly 25years ,i am a concreter by trade and i also own a florist as well nothing has ever been given to me and i have worked 7 days a week for the last 25 years with only 1 week off each year,i look at the smart arse quote by a few of these people and think if there words are not constructive then shut your mouth ,rather than look like a fool ?
please enjoy the pictures

Thank you, I am uploading many more pictures. I got the 5970 because it allows me to use high detail settings in Trainz and future games.

BEN90 when i am not playing trainz i change the setting on the card all the time back to the lower settings ,why to save the life of the cards i all ways have done that the first lot of pictures i took were at the lowest settings ,also please keep in mind the size of the hole map when trainz is running the hole map is working ,not just what you see the hole map and every tree on the map moves in the wind

Surely, this is not the case... A game is not supposed to render parts of the game world you don't see. John Carmack pioneered this in 1991.

...Carmack pioneered a technique in which the computer would only render the area which was visible to the player, rather than the entire level. This conserved processor power, which could then be devoted to more detailed graphics. This technique was instrumental in the later creation of the first extremely popular first-person shooter, Wolfenstein 3D, which was released by id on May 5, 1992.

If i have 60 locos on the track in different location then each of them has rolling stock to be loaded and unloaded as well as passenger station with people catching trains and i can set the number of people on each station as well all of that is going on in the back ground as well ,whilst displaying what you are seeing on your moniter at that point in time,so the hole computer has a lot to do when running trainz 2010 ,i wouldn't say rendering it but i would say recording it all, keep in mind there are thousands of signal lights on the track and also turnout junction, every train records how many people are on it and stations record how many people come and go,coal mine airport shipping port logging all types of industries meat works do i need to go on ,,,,,so how does crysis compair to trainz for using computer power and graphics or battlefield 2,trainz is what bench marks should be done with as well, it does render within 5000 metres so that still is a lot of rendering still per to scale
