Training is done, the course is ready

We have a 3 gun match coming up next weekend (30th). We spent last weekend getting everything in order and of course I had to take some video of the event. And so without further ado.....

Our resident Copper keeping the range well mowed. Let me tell you, this is golf course levels of care....

Mowing the range

Stage 1 Engage set 1 of poppers then move to a barrel to engage the 2nd set.

Stage 2 Engage a set of poppers from a prone position shooting under a barricade.

Stage 3 Engage shotgun targets, once all targets are down engage pistol targets.

And of course the day wouldnt be complete without a SMG or two...

Suppressed SMG

SMG on crack! This thing is WICKED. I want one, very badly.

Suppressed 22 MG Just too cool.....

Stage 1 full auto Much faster with the SMG then with the pistols!

We also had the opportunity to play lumber jack......with Tannerite.

TIMMMMBERRRRR Ok, so it didnt drop all the way.....Maybe we'll finish the job on the 30th

All in all it was an excellent weekend!

Tannerite is great fun, nothing like a little ammonium nitrate based explosive...
I just wish I had a range close by that would allow fmj rounds and tannerite.

For reference the small Tannerite targets are 1/2 of a pound. We used 3 in the tree which is 1.5 pounds. The larger targets are 1 pound and I'll probably double stack them for 2 pound charges.

Yeah, Tannerite is LOTS of fun.
