anyone have a date for PC?

The PlayStation 2 version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is scheduled for release on October 26, 2004--about a month from now. A PC version of the game has also been confirmed for release next year.

So yet another variation of GTA? GTA3 was good b/c it was original. GTA: VC got real old, real fast, because it was much of the same, with motorcycles. This looks no different really.

From what I understand its more interactive and includes 3 different cities instead of just 1.

Hmm....intriguing 🙂 I don't see how much more interactive it can get, unless you can this time blow up buildings, so you could theoretically level an entire block. Didn't GTA3 feature 3 different cities anyway? (I Haven't really done much in VC so I can't say for that one)

I see it as more about the story.... each GTA release also adds more features and is usually more immersive in the environment...
more will be out as it gets closer to the date... plus they get 6 mos to tweak it for the PC version
🙂

IIRC, GTA3 was 1 city and smaller than VC. VC, although still only 1 city, was much larger than GTA3. I guess this one is 3 cities the size of the one in VC, each.

GTA3 was 1 city with 3 districts made to feel much larger than it was with horrible traffic patterns. Vice City is about twice the size landmass wise and far better interconnection wise.
