can't get too excited about it considering the first wolverine movie was pretty bad.

To be honest, no matter what the reviews are, I find all the comic movies entertaining. I really like that they are going with a different plot, instead of retelling the same one though.

Uh, wait, there was already a "Wolverine" movie. Somehow adding "The" to it makes it unique?

Deadpool sucked.

I was hoping they'd go with the comic book version of Deadpool; not much in the way of powers other than extreme regeneration, but by sealing off his mouth, it got rid of the main reason for watching Deadpool - his quips and constant joking.

the deadpool in the move was a joke.

they are making a read deadpool movie. from what i read its more based off the comic then the idiotic one they had in the movie.

It is based on a miniseries. They already boned the "regular" series, so this is how they will try to salvage the character's movie franchise. Just like with Hulk, they will keep trying till it hits with the huge fan base the characters have. Now that Hulk worked in Avengers they are talking about another Hulk flick, this time based on an excellent story, and arcing it back into Avengers.

I am not certain it can work. His being somewhat aware he is in a comic book; how the hell do you pull that off well? I just do not think that will play with general audiences. The wise cracks have that cheesy 80's action movie vibe too. It will probably feel stale at best, or at worst, like Johnny Storm in the FF flicks.

yeah i wonder how they will do it. Though breaking the 4th wall worked in movies before.

the audience knows his back story so they know he will do it.

i do wonder who they are going to do the thought bubbles..teh conflicting bubbles are what makes him great heh.

I really hope they can pull it off.

would love to see proper deadpool as well, sounds like so do the writers. haven't tried looking up the leaked script but seems they're pretty confident/passionate about it.

the remake with Norton was decent enough. ffs--give up on Hulk.

I thought it looked good except the whole flying over the train part. Yeah, that's not how it works movie people, that looked extremely fake.

I just can't wrap my head around if you're in modern japan with all this modern science. Why send a bunch of samurais and ninjas with swords to kill Wolverine when he's most vulnerable? Send tanks and assassins with bombs and RPGs
