I live no more than 3 miles away from work and it takes me 40+ mins to get here. If it's not the grossly out dated primary roads, we then get stuck behind school buses that stop every 30 seconds for a pick up on the secondary roads.

I just want to pull my hair out.

It should be nice enough you could always ride your bike or do what most of us do and use said kids as speed bumps.

where in jersey? 78 has been a mess for the last week.

twice last week the medivac heli had landed.

Driving three miles to work every day? Pfff! Find a way to ride a bike or walk most days and you'll be happier. If there's OMGNOWAY you could possibly do that, then quit complaining!

Bridgewater. Bridgewater is where 206, 202, and 22 meets and where everybody heads to get on 287 and 78. It's a cluster *u*k.

So instead of 30 or 40 mins...it would take me an hour. And it's hard to carry a suite case with shirt and tie in 90 degree weather.

Where are you from? California?

It has yet to break the 50's and when it did almost the one time we got 8 inches of snow the next day.

there are no back roads you can use to bike to work? While I agree with you that traffic in NJ sucks ass, I have a hard time believing it takes you 40 mins for three miles. I used to take 206 to 287 to get to work and drove 35 miles in an hour to hour fifteen.

I have since moved to Somerset and my commute now is no more than 25 mins (21 miles).

That area does get crazy during rush hour. I work in Bedminster and I get off just before all of that garbage, but Ive driven in it before and its not fun
